ジ・エクスポーズド東京展 [フォトデイズ：写真に目がくらんで] 開催！


G/P galleryでは、8月8日よりジ・エクスポーズド東京展 [フォトデイズ：写真に目がくらんで]を開催します。
THE EXPOSEDは、2006年よりスタートした日本の若手写真家のためのショーケースです。大阪の芸術センターCASOを会場として、第1回目は、椿昇＋後藤繁雄のキュレイションによりスタートしました。その後も毎年、単なる写真展ではなく、写真そのものの根源的なあり方、写真と言うものの拡張をテーマにグループショーを行っており、昨年は雑誌『スタジオボイス』でもTHE EXPOSEDのメンバーの多くが大きくとりあげられるなど、日本の新しい写真潮流のオーガナイザー的存在として注目を集めています。3回目にあたる2008年は、[PhotoDazE]というタイトルのもと、CASOでは14名のアーティストで構成しました。続く東京巡回展は、大阪展とは別の構成によるショーケースを皆様にご覧いただきます。

THE EXPOSED is a showcase started in 2006 which shows the new photography of Japanese young photographers. It has played an important role as an organizer for Japanese new photography movement, having group shows questioning the context of photography, and expansion of it. In the 3rd edition of THE EXPOSED in 2008 was held with the title PhotoDazE with 14 artists participating at CASO, Osaka. The gallery talk "Tokyo Photography Revolution" with Ryosuke Ohama, the editor of "STUDIOVOICE" & Shigeo Goto will be held on 9th of August 7PM. On 3rd of September 7PM, a slide-show of Hideka Tonomura and the gallery talk with Kimi Himeno & Shigeo Goto will be held. (limited to 20 person)
